TheAudioDownloadStore deals primarily in the spoken word. Audio books, podcasts and teleseminars are what we do. However, over the years we have come to know and love these amazing services and can personally recommend each. (note: Each of these links will open in a new browser. You may need to allow pop-ups in order to get their site.)

For the new music and cutting edge groups and artists, we like eMusic.com. They're not the "same old, same old" you hear on the popular stations, but more independent music. On eMusic you'll find true artists, like Johnny Cash, Bloc Party, Ray Charles, Dashboard Confessional, John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, Spoon and Interpol.
Like our audio books, you can try before you buy. Just use the link above and sign up for their free trial offer. You've really got nothing to lose and you can try out their selection and service for 14 days -- FOR FREE!!!

| www.Napster.com was the orginial P2P provider of downloadable music. With the legislation that ended that practice, Napster now legitamately boasts one of the largest subscription based archive of songs on the internet today. You'll find just about everything and everybody there. Sign up for their trial and I'm sure you'll find all the music you could ever want. And what's cool is if you stay a subscriber, there are no limits to what you can download, how much or when. I know I am a happy Napster subscriber! |

OK, this one's not technically music, but you can download some rockin' ring tones for your phone. There are lots of other cool downloadables for you phone on their site as well. The first month you get a bunch of extra credits so its really an awesome way to try all the site has to offer for about $10. You can then continue or quit any time. When I first got it, I put Nickleback's Rockstar on my phone and my son got Chris Brown's Run it. They cater to all tastes, good and bad! The great thing is, they're so inexpensive you can change them out each month and never get board!

We first listened to Satellite radio on a road trip to Florida. Man! What a difference. I'll never go back to regular radio. Sirrus is of course the top dog in satellite radio. And what about all the music choices you have on satellite radio? Multiple channels of most everything. Now they have some of the best in talk radio as well. With news, sports, entertainment news, etc, the choice are endless. And at these prices, outside of audio books of course, its the best entertainment value for your buck.

The biggest I've saved for last. BMG Music Service is clearly the largest mail order CD service in the world! And when you can get 12 CDs for the price of 1, how can simply cannot beat that. I can't count how many times I've signed up for this service, fulfilled my committment and dropped out, only to sign up again a couple of years later and do it again. Any time I needed an influx of new CDs. It's one of the few great mail order deals left for consumers. How can they do it so cheaply? My thought is they don't have EVERY new artist or CD when it comes out, thus saving money and the big popular artists. They do have a bunch of them though. The only way you'll know if they have what' you want is to go look for yourself and see if you can't find 12 or 13 CDs you would want to add to your collection... TODAY! Use the link above and check 'em out.
